Sophie Egar is a Visiting Researcher at Iracambi Rainforest Research and Conservation in Brazil and an MA candidate at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). She previously worked as an Emerging Expert with the Forum on the Arms Trade in Washington, and holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Studies from American University.
