Will Brehm

Bio

Will Brehm is an Associate Professor in Comparative and International Education in the Faculty of Education at the University of Canberra. His research interrogates the intersection of comparative and international education with international relations and the political economy of development, focused primarily on the Mekong sub-region of Southeast Asia. He is author of Cambodia for Sale (2021, Routledge) and co-editor of Public Policy Innovation for Human Capital Development (APO, 2021), Memory in the Mekong (Teachers College Press, 2022) and Education and Power in Southeast Asia (Routledge, 2023). He is also known for the podcast he created and hosts called FreshEd.

The East Asia Forum office is based in Australia and EAF acknowledges the First Peoples of this land — in Canberra the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people — and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.
