Tu Phuong Nguyen researches labour law, law and society, political economy of development, and precarious employment in Vietnam. Her most recent publication is Law and Precarity: Legal Consciousness and Daily Survival in Vietnam (Cambridge University Press, 2023).

The East Asia Forum office is based in Australia and EAF acknowledges the First Peoples of this land — in Canberra the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people — and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.
