Soumya Bhowmick is an Associate Fellow at the Centre for New Economic Diplomacy, Observer Research Foundation, Kolkata. His research focus is on sustainable development and globalisation economics. Soumya holds a double Master’s degree in Economics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and the University of Antwerp, Belgium (specialisation in Economics of Globalisation and European Integration). He has previously been awarded the: Government of Japan’s JASSO Scholarship, Tokyo Foundation’s SYLFF Fellowship, and the European Commission’s EMJMD Fellowship.
