Bio

Paul Christensen is a cultural anthropologist and Associate Professor in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts department at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. His areas of work and attention include Japan, Hawaii, and Brazil as well as addiction, recovery, and gender, particularly masculinity. Dr Christensen has been invited to make presentations at Harvard University, the University of Missouri–St Louis, the University of Hawaiii at Mānoa, and the University of Michigan. He co-advises UNITY, Rose-Hulman’s Gay–Straight Alliance.
