Novia Xu is Researcher at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Indonesia. Xu's research focuses on issues at the nexus of climate change and trade policy. Xu is also active as Co-Founder of Podcast ASAP Indonesia that discusses disaster issues in Indonesia. Prior to working as researcher at CSIS, Xu was research assistant to Professor Mari Elka Pangestu. Xu obtained a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Indonesia and Master of Climate Change Science and Policy from Victoria University of Wellington with a full scholarship from the New Zealand government.
