Kanokwan Manorom is a Director of Mekong Sub-Region Social Research Center (MSSRC), based at the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Ubon Ratchathani University, Thailand. She earned her PhD in Rural Sociology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, her Master's in Rural and Regional Development and Planning from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and her Bachelor’s degree in Community Development from Khon Kean University, Thailand.
