Bio

Aaqib Md Shatil is a research and communication professional based in Cambridge. Aaqib worked with research groups, media outlets and development organisations including BRAC and UNDP, for almost five years. He is leading the Energy and Infrastructure Policy Network at the Youth Policy Forum and is a part of the forum's research group for the Coalition for Upgrading Bangladesh Economy (CUBE). Aaqib has an MSc in Sustainable Development from the University of Sussex and is enthusiastic about the climate, nature and renewable energy. His published works include 'Global Environmental Politics and Developing Nations' Climatic Vulnerability Nexus: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis'.

The East Asia Forum office is based in Australia and EAF acknowledges the First Peoples of this land — in Canberra the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people — and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.
